Denver

On Thursday, I was in Denver for about 8 hours. Although it wasn’t enough time, I was still able to enjoy nature and a Mexican restaurant.  However, I have been to Denver twice before (not including some of their skiing resorts).  Therefore, it wasn’t a big deal that I was not able to explore some more.  I went to have lunch to a Mexican restaurant called el Jardin.  Firstly, let me start by telling you that the service was horrible.  Secondly, the menu was authentic and the food was delicious.  But, the margaritas were not very good either.  If they could work on their service and their margaritas these restaurant would be awesome.  But then again, next time I could do carry-out instead and avoid the disappointments.  It is rare that I find a Mexican restaurant with pozole.  Therefore, as soon as I saw it on the menu, I knew I had to get it.  The pozole was exquisite and I honestly felt like I was back in Mexico.  The tacos were pretty good as well even though I am not a huge fan of ground beef tacos.

While I was there, I was able to enjoy their nature and tranquility as well.
