Fleming's prime steakhouse

Last night, we went to Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar for a nice dinner.  We went to the location in The Woodlands, Texas.  We actually sat on the patio which has a beautiful view and also served happy hour.  Their happy hour menu was decent.  They did not have a variety of drinks (nothing I would order at least).  But, they did have great appetizers for $5, what a great price! My favorite appetizer was Sweet Chile Calamari, it was exquisite.  However, the appetizer came with octopus and I was extremely surprised because the menu did not mention it.  I absolutely love octopus and that completely won my heart.  For entrée, we ordered the double breast of chicken.  It was a pretty large chicken that was roasted with white wine.  It tasted extremely good.   On Sundays, Fleming’s has a Prime Rib Dinner for $39.95.  The Prime Rib dinner includes a salad, one side and a dessert.  I think is a great value, especially for a fine steakhouse.  The Prime Rib I got was cooked medium-rare and was juicy and delightful.  It was cooked perfect!  They also make their own steak sauce and it was very tasty.   For my side dish, I ordered the sautéed mushrooms and they were alright.  I am a huge mushroom fan and these mushrooms were not my favorite.  I personally do not think I would order them again.   I should have just stuck to my baked potato.  For my dessert, I ordered the carrot cake.  Can I say DELICIOUS? OMG, it was literally a foodgasm in my mouth.   I completely recommend it!
