Everyone has their definition of a fairy tale. What if a fairy tale is just a happy ending or what if is just the ending that you want it to be. If being single is your happy ending and ideal for you then you have accomplished your fairy tale. Maybe a fairy tale is your long term dream and goal and the way you want to live your life. A fairy tale doesn't have to be what we see in Disney or movies. Of course movies and books make it sound and look good. But this is reality, things may not end as good or they may end even better. But realize that you do not need a man or woman to complete you and make you happy. We may all want someone there to keep us company, make us smile, use their shoulder when we need to cry, someone to have fun with and someone to love. Never mistake a want for a need. We do not need a significant other but we probably want one. There are exceptions to everything. The exception could be that you are out there having fun and not ready to settle down. But trust me you will get tired of that lifestyle. Another exception may be when someone has been done wrong, has a broken heart and it won't heal and they become bitter. These type of people could possibly forever close their doors and not let anyone else in. However, as long as that makes you happy then it's all that matters.
If a fairy tale mainly consists of a happily ever after ending then live your life to the fullest with no regrets! Why no regrets? Because at that point is exactly what you wanted to do. So, just call it a mistake; learn and keep living.
Note: Sometimes what you want isn't always what you get because sometimes is even better. Enjoy and live life for what benefits you and what makes you happy. At the end of the day is your fairy tale. Make sure that your actions will one day lead to happily ever after. Ladies, remember you may have to kiss many frogs before you find your prince.
